A Common Place, Longwood’s undergraduate literary journal, will be holding a meeting for anyone interested in joining our staff! Members will help write blog posts, solicit submissions, run tabling events, prepare the journal for publication, and more during the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain publishing experience. Join us to learn more about being part of the team—no obligations!

In addition to readers and writers, we’re also looking for people with experience in art/design, social media management, and website management (WordPress). However, no prior experience or skills are necessary to join.

The meeting will be held in Grainger 101 on Thursday, September 8 at 3:30pm. If you’re interested in joining the staff but can’t attend this meeting, please email emily.steffenhagen@live.longwood.edu.
