Founded in 2021, A Common Place is a literary magazine publishing both online and print. Run by undergraduate scholars, it features fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, and other creative writing. We accept submissions exclusively from undergraduate students at Longwood University in order to showcase the work of writers who are just beginning their literary careers. We seek to elevate these emerging writers by offering them the experience of publication and to create a strong literary community at Longwood. A Common Place is available free to Longwood students, staff, and faculty.
